Bihar STET 2025 Application Details



The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has initiated the application process for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. Candidates interested in applying for Bihar STET 2025 can complete their applications online. The deadline for submitting applications is set for September 19, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website.


Educational Qualifications Required

To be eligible for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test, candidates must have completed their graduation or post-graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, candidates should possess a B.Ed degree along with other specified qualifications.


Exam Pattern Overview

Selection of candidates will be based on a written examination. The written test will consist of multiple-choice questions worth 150 marks, covering specified subjects as well as teaching skills and other competencies.


Age Limit Criteria

Candidates must be at least 21 years old as of August 1, 2025, to apply. However, age relaxation will be provided for specific categories. The maximum age limit is 37 years for general male candidates, 40 years for general and OBC female candidates, and 42 years for SC and ST candidates.


Application Fee Structure

Candidates are required to pay an application fee. For general, OBC, and economically weaker section candidates applying for one paper, the fee is set at ₹960, while for both papers, it is ₹1440. For SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates applying for one paper, the fee is ₹760, and for both papers, it is ₹1140.
