Bihar Staff Selection Commission Recruitment Announcement



The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released a notification regarding the recruitment of Office Attendants across various departments. Aspiring candidates looking for government job opportunities in Bihar can apply online through the official BPSC website. The application process is currently open and will remain available until September 26, 2025. A total of 3,727 Office Attendant positions are set to be filled by BPSC.


Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in applying for the Office Attendant roles must have completed their 10th grade or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational board in India.


The age criteria stipulate that applicants must be at least 18 years old as of August 1, 2025. The upper age limits are as follows:



  • General category: 37 years


  • OBC and general category female candidates: 40 years


  • SC and ST candidates: 42 years



Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a written examination. This exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions covering Mathematics, General Knowledge, and General Hindi, totaling 400 marks. Candidates will have two hours to complete the exam, which includes negative marking: 4 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer, while correct answers will not incur penalties.


Application Fees

The application fee is set at Rs 540 for general and OBC candidates. For SC, ST, Divyang, and women from the general category in Bihar, the fee is reduced to Rs 135.
