BPSC 71st Preliminary Examination Results Released

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) 71st PT Result: The results for the 71st Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination have been announced by the BPSC. A total of 13,368 candidates have successfully qualified for the main examination. The announcement was made by Rajesh Kumar Singh, the Examination Controller of the Commission. Notably, 893 candidates have qualified for the Financial Administrative Officer role.

The BPSC has set the following cut-off marks: 88 for the unreserved category, 82.33 for EWS, 72 for SC, 71.33 for ST, 81 for EBC, and 84 for BC. In this preliminary examination, 211 candidates achieved scores exceeding 100 marks, with the total marks for the exam being 150.

Over 316,905 candidates participated in the examination, which took place on September 13 across 912 centers in 37 districts throughout the state. This recruitment initiative aims to fill 1,298 vacant positions. Candidates who have passed will be eligible to take the main examination, expected to be held in March 2026.
