Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSCC) Vacancy 2026: The BPSCC has opened applications for the role of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Operation), with a total of 462 positions available. Eligibility Criteria

Who is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from an accredited institution. Furthermore, candidates should have achieved at least 50% marks by August 1, 2025. For those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST), the minimum marks requirement is lowered to 45%.


Age Requirements

  • For unreserved (General) male candidates: Minimum age is 21 years, maximum age is 37 years.

Selection Process

How Candidates Will Be Selected:
The selection will occur in three phases:



  1. The first phase involves a written examination, which includes both preliminary and main objective-type tests.


  2. The second phase is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which consists of running, high jump, long jump, and shot put.


  3. The final phase includes document verification and a medical examination to confirm candidates' eligibility and physical fitness.
