The Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has issued a recruitment notification (Advt. No.-02/2026: From Bihar Home Guard) to fill 64 vacancies for the roles of Police Havildar and Clerk within the Home Guard department. The application process commenced on January 5th.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must have completed their Intermediate (12th) class by August 1, 2025.

Physical Standards for Applicants

Male candidates from Unreserved and Backward Classes must meet the following physical criteria:


  • Minimum height: 165 cm
  • Chest measurement: 81 cm (unexpanded) and 86 cm (expanded)

  • Chest measurement: 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded)
