The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has announced a recruitment drive for Constable (General Duty Close Cadre) roles within the Bihar Police Special Branch. A total of 83 vacancies are available, and the application process will be conducted entirely online. Candidates who have completed their 12th grade are eligible to apply. Age Requirements

Age Limits:


For general category applicants, the age range is set between 18 and 25 years. Selection Process and Examination Format

Exam Structure:


The selection process will commence with a written examination comprising two papers, each containing 100 questions, with a time limit of 90 minutes. Candidates will earn one mark for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect responses. A minimum score of 30 percent is necessary to qualify in the written test. There will be no interview stage, and the merit list will be based solely on the written examination scores.


Physical Measurement Criteria

Post-Exam Requirements:


Candidates who pass the written examination will be invited for physical measurement assessments. Male candidates must meet specific height and chest measurement criteria, while female candidates are required to have a minimum height of 155 centimeters and a weight of at least 48 kilograms.
