Eligibility Requirements

Candidates wishing to apply for the Bihar ASI Operator roles must meet the following criteria:


1. Educational Qualification: A Graduation degree (B.Sc) with Physics as a subject from a recognized institution, with a minimum of 50% marks by August 1, 2025. For SC and ST candidates, the required percentage is 45%.


2. Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 21 years old. The upper age limit is 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Age calculations will be based on August 1, 2025, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories.


Physical Standards

The physical eligibility criteria are as follows:


1. General and Backward Class candidates: Minimum height of 165 cm, chest measurement of 81 cm (unexpanded) and 86 cm (expanded).


2. Extremely Backward Class, SC, and ST candidates: Minimum height of 160 cm, chest measurement of 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded).


3. Female candidates: Minimum height of 155 cm and a weight of at least 48 kg.
