Candidates preparing for the Driver Constable recruitment in Bihar Police have an important update. The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has made the e-admit cards available for the Driving Efficiency Test (DET). Eligible individuals can download their admit cards from the official website of the commission. This recruitment initiative aims to fill 4,361 Driver Constable positions within the Bihar Police.


After the written examination and Physical Efficiency Test, the selection process has now progressed to the driving test phase. The DET will evaluate the actual driving skills of the candidates, making it a vital step in the recruitment process.


**Eligibility for DET**


Initially, 15,516 candidates were shortlisted for the Driving Efficiency Test following the written exam. After further evaluations, 11,847 candidates have been deemed eligible to participate in the DET. These candidates are required to report to their assigned centers on the specified dates for the driving test.


The DET will assess the candidates' driving capabilities. Participants must showcase their driving skills by operating various vehicles, including cars, jeeps, buses, and trucks. There is no predetermined order for testing these vehicles.


**Driving Test Schedule**


As per the CSBC timetable, the Driving Efficiency Test is set to begin on August 24, 2026. Candidates must arrive at the venue according to the date, time, and exam center details mentioned in their e-admit cards. It is crucial to thoroughly review the instructions provided on the admit card.


**Steps to Download the Admit Card**


To download the admit card, candidates should first visit the official CSBC website at csbc.bihar.gov.in. They should then navigate to the recruitment or relevant notification section and click on the link for the Driver Constable DET admit card. After entering the necessary login information, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should download it and keep a printed copy for future reference. If there are any technical difficulties in downloading the admit card, candidates can obtain a duplicate by visiting the CSBC office in Patna on August 21 or 22, available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
