Important Update for Havildar Clerk Applicants

Candidates who have applied for the Havildar Clerk positions in the Bihar Home Guard Department should take note of a crucial announcement. The Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released a notification confirming the date for the upcoming examination. The exam is set to take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2026.

Exam Schedule and Reporting Time

The Bihar Havildar recruitment exam will occur in a single session, running from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates must arrive at their designated examination centers by 8:30 AM to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Admit Card Availability

Candidates can download their admit cards starting May 6. These e-admit cards will be available under the 'Home Guard' section on the BPSSC's official website, bpssc.bihar.gov.in. Applicants will need to log in with their credentials to access the admit cards, which will not be mailed or delivered in person.

Exam Format and Subjects

The examination will utilize an OMR format, consisting of 100 questions. Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the test. The questions will be based on the 10th-grade syllabus, covering subjects such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs. Those who pass the written exam will qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test.
