The Bihar government has launched a commendable initiative aimed at supporting graduate students. Through the Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana, eligible graduates can receive a financial incentive of Rs 50,000. The government is currently inviting applications from students enrolled in affiliated and constituent colleges in Jehanabad. This incentive is available to those who have completed their graduation between April 1, 2021, and December 31, 2024.
To benefit from this scheme, students must submit their applications via the official department website. The deadline for online applications is set for September 5. Applications submitted within this timeframe will undergo verification, after which the incentive amount will be directly credited to the students' bank accounts.
Application Requirements and Necessary Documents
As per the college administration, female students must have an account with either the National Bank or the Post Payment Bank, and this account should be linked to their Aadhar card. When applying through the departmental portal, students are required to upload several essential documents, including:
- Mark Sheets for Matriculation, Intermediate, and Graduation
- Educational Certificate
- Aadhar Card
- Photocopy of Bank Passbook
The college administration encourages students to take advantage of this opportunity.
The primary aim of the Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana is to motivate students to pursue higher education, enabling them to prepare effectively for further studies and competitive examinations using the funds provided by this scheme.
The SS College administration has received directives from the university regarding this initiative. All graduate students from the district's colleges are being urged to apply. Those who have not yet submitted their applications should do so on the portal before the deadline to avail themselves of this scheme.
