Educational and Technical Qualifications
Educational Requirement: Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university.
Technical Qualifications: A Diploma or PG Diploma in Sports Coaching is required from one of the following institutions:
- Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), managed by the Sports Authority of India.
- Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior.
- Central Sports University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or Bihar University.
Sports Achievements Criteria
Required Sports Achievements: Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- Represented India in an international competition.
- Represented their state in national or international championships.
- Participated in recognized events like the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, or World Championships.
- Competed in All India Inter-University/Junior/National Championships at least twice.
- Participated in Inter-Services Competition/All India Police Games/Inter-Railway Championships at least three times.
