Educational Qualification



  • Candidates must possess a Postgraduate (PG) Degree in the relevant specialty. If there are insufficient PG degree holders, candidates with a Diploma may also be considered, but they will receive 10 marks less than PG degree holders in the merit list.


  • Candidates with equivalent PG qualifications recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) are also eligible.


  • 40% of positions will be filled by Bihar State Health Service cadre members, 40% by doctors who completed their postgraduate degree in-state, and 20% by those from recognized institutions outside Bihar.
