BCECEB UG: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially released the schedule for the third round of Undergraduate Medical Admission Counseling (UGMC) for the year 2025. This counseling session is aimed at facilitating admissions into MBBS, BDS, and Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSC and AH) programs. As per the latest notification, the registration and application-cum-choice filling process for this round has commenced. Candidates can submit their choices until 10 PM on October 27.

The provisional results for seat allotment are set to be published on November 2. Candidates who are selected will have the opportunity to download their allotment orders from November 2 to November 5. The document verification and admission procedures will take place from November 4 to November 5.

Expansion of MBBS Seats in Private Colleges
As reported by BCECEB, there has been an increase in MBBS seats across several private medical institutions in Bihar. Notably, both the Virat Ramayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Chikia (East Champaran) and RDJMMC in Turki (Muzaffarpur) have each added 50 MBBS seats. Additionally, Katihar Medical College has also expanded its capacity by 50 seats, with the Letter of Permission (LOP) issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
