Qualifications for Hindi Translator

Candidates must meet specific educational criteria in both Hindi and English. Acceptable qualifications include:


- Master's in English with Honours in Hindi

- Master's in any subject along with a Master's in Hindi


- Honours in Hindi with a Law degree (LLB)


- Honours in Hindi with a BA/BSc degree

Moreover, applicants should have a minimum of three years of translation experience in a government or reputable organization, with a preference for those knowledgeable in proofreading and literary works.


Age Limit and Relaxation

Candidates must be aged between 18 and 37 years as of July 1, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as follows:

Exam Details

Selection Criteria

In case of a tie in scores, preference will be given to the older candidate. If birth dates are the same, the candidate with higher Master's degree marks will be prioritized.
