On January 15, 2026, the bank released an official notification regarding the recruitment of 600 apprentices across its branches nationwide. - Tamil Nadu: 21 positions
- Telangana: 17 positions
- Bihar, Punjab, Rajasthan: 15 positions each
- Smaller states and Union Territories like Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, Puducherry, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli: 1 position each

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Additionally, proficiency in the local language of the respective state or Union Territory is required, which must be validated through the 10th or 12th-grade mark sheet.
Age Limit
Applicants should be between 20 and 28 years old as of November 30, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and other reserved categories. Application Fee Structure
The application fee varies by category: General, EWS, and OBC candidates must pay Rs. 150 (including GST), while SC and ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 100. Candidates with disabilities are exempt from the application fee, promoting inclusivity in this recruitment process.
Selection Process and Training
Selected apprentices will undergo a one-year training program in accordance with the Apprentices Act of 1961 and the Bank of Maharashtra's regulations. This training will equip candidates with various banking skills to prepare them for future employment.
Stipend Information
During the training period, apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300, which will remain unchanged throughout the year. However, the bank has stated that no additional allowances or benefits will be provided during this time.
