Exciting Apprenticeship Opportunities at Bank of Baroda
If you're looking to start an apprenticeship in the banking sector, Bank of Baroda (BoB) has a fantastic opportunity for you. The bank is currently conducting a recruitment campaign for 5,000 apprentice positions and is inviting applications. Interested candidates can submit their applications from May 19 to June 8, 2026. When applying, candidates must choose up to three preferred training centers or locations from the list provided for their respective State or Union Territory. Selected individuals will participate in a one-year apprenticeship program, earning a monthly stipend of ₹15,000.
It's important to note that candidates who have completed one year or more of training or work experience after obtaining their educational qualifications are not eligible for these apprentice roles. Bank of Baroda is specifically looking for fresh candidates who have not previously participated in any apprenticeship training.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Applicants must be Indian citizens with a graduate degree in any field or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Those registered on the NATS portal should ensure that their graduation date does not exceed four years before the cut-off date of May 1, 2026.
Age Limit: For candidates registered under NAPS, the upper age limit is 34 years as of the cut-off date. Age relaxations will be provided for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per government regulations.
Application Fee
The application fee is set at ₹800 for male candidates from General, EWS, and OBC categories, while female and transgender candidates in these categories need to pay ₹600. Candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay ₹200.
Application Process
To apply, visit the official Bank of Baroda website at bankofbaroda.bank.in. Click on the 'Careers' section on the homepage, then select the 'Current Opportunities' tab, and click on 'Appointment of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961'. Applications can be submitted through the NATS/NAPS portal. Candidates should indicate whether they are Regular students or Sandwich/AEDP students and log in using their email or Aadhaar number.
Selection Process
The selection will involve an online examination, document verification, local language assessment, and a medical examination. The online test will be worth 100 marks and will cover topics such as General and Financial Awareness, Quantitative and Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, and General English. Candidates who pass the exam will proceed to document verification and a local language proficiency test relevant to their chosen State or Union Territory.
