Ayodhya: The final results of UP PCS 2024, released on March 29, 2026, have seen Anamika Mishra from Ayodhya securing the fourth position in the state. Working as an assistant teacher in a government school, Anamika balanced her family responsibilities after marriage while continuing her preparations. This was her fourth attempt, and despite facing three setbacks, she remained determined. Her achievement is particularly noteworthy as she accomplished this without any coaching. Her husband, also an educator, supported her by pursuing his studies to help fulfill her dreams. Today, Anamika has transitioned from being a teacher to an SDM, becoming a role model for both her family and the community.

Since 2018, Anamika has been working as an assistant teacher in a government school in Basti district. She managed her school duties during the day, took care of her family responsibilities at home, and dedicated her nights to preparing for the PCS exams. Her husband’s support was crucial in maintaining this balance.


Self-Study: The Key to Success

Never having attended coaching classes, Anamika committed 3-4 hours daily to self-study after returning from school. Her husband joined her in studying, and they often discussed topics together. During exam periods, their study hours extended to 8-9 hours. This self-study strategy proved to be effective.


Family Support and Unyielding Spirit

Despite three failures, Anamika never lost hope. She emphasizes the importance of focusing on previous year questions and the syllabus to clarify the exam's direction. After marriage, the support from her in-laws and husband empowered her to move forward.

Anamika's husband shared that during their wedding in February 2023, the results of the mains exam were announced, in which Anamika did not succeed. However, he was determined to help her achieve her dream. This unwavering support has been a significant factor in her success today.
