Apprenticeship Openings at DRDO



The Research Centre Imarat (RCI), part of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), is currently inviting applications for apprenticeship positions. This opportunity is available for individuals who have completed Graduate, Technician, and Trade courses. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official DRDO website.


A total of 195 positions are available, categorized as follows: 50 for Graduate candidates, 30 for Technician candidates, and 115 for those with Trade qualifications.


Eligibility Criteria


To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements:


1. Age must be calculated as of September 1, 2026, with a minimum age of 18 years.


2. Candidates should have achieved at least 70% marks (or a CGPA of 7.5 or above) in their Graduation, Diploma, or ITI courses.


3. For Graduate Apprenticeship, a B.E. or B.Tech degree from a recognized institution is required.


4. A Diploma is necessary for the Technician Apprenticeship, while an ITI qualification is needed for the Trade Apprenticeship.


Selection Procedure


The selection will be based on the marks obtained in qualifying examinations, followed by an interview and document verification. Shortlisted candidates will receive notifications via email. During document verification, candidates must present essential documents, including their Class 10 certificate, qualifying examination certificate, caste certificate, disability certificate, PAN card, Aadhaar card, and identity proof.
