BMC Recruitment 2025 Overview



The Bathinda Municipal Corporation has announced a recruitment drive for 597 vacancies, including 538 Safai Sevak and 59 Sewerman roles. Interested candidates must submit their applications online by November 4, 2025, through the official Bathinda Municipal Corporation website.


Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be between 18 and 37 years old. However, candidates belonging to the SC (Scheduled Caste) and BC (Backward Class) categories from Punjab can apply until the age of 42, thanks to a 5-year age relaxation.


Additionally, state and central government employees can apply up to 45 years of age with further age relaxation.


Application Fees

The application fee structure is as follows:



  • General Category: ₹500


  • SC/BC/OBC/PWD: ₹100


  • Ex-servicemen: ₹200



Payments must be made online.


Selection Process

Candidates will be evaluated based on their educational qualifications (minimum literacy or middle pass) and relevant work experience.


The selection will be conducted on a scoring system out of 100 marks, combining education and experience. A merit list will be generated, and candidates with the highest scores will be chosen.
