Each year, numerous girls face challenges in continuing their education after completing 12th grade due to financial constraints. In rural areas, this often leads to early marriages. To combat this issue, a scholarship program has been introduced, offering an annual financial aid of Rs 30,000 to support girls in pursuing higher education. The application window is currently open, with a deadline set for September 30.
Details of the Scholarship Provider
The Azim Premji Foundation is the organization behind this scholarship initiative. It aims to assist girls from various states across the country in their pursuit of higher education. Each selected student will receive Rs 30,000 annually, which can be utilized for tuition, books, hostel fees, or other educational expenses. Notably, this scholarship will be available for the entire duration of the degree or diploma program.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Must have completed 10th and 12th grades from a government institution.
2. Must be enrolling as a regular student in a degree or diploma course for the first time in the 2025-26 academic year.
3. The course must be offered by a recognized government or private college/university.

Application Process and Required Documents
The application process is entirely online, and candidates can apply through the official Azim Premji Foundation website without any application fee. Required documents include:
1. Recent passport-sized photograph and signature
2. Aadhar card
3. Bank passbook or recent bank statement
4. Mark sheets for 10th and 12th grades
5. Proof of admission (bona fide certificate or fee receipt)
All documents must be uploaded as clear, colored scanned copies.
Application Timeline
The scholarship applications will be accepted in two phases:
1. First Phase: September 10, 2025, to September 30, 2025.
2. Second Phase: January 10, 2026, to January 31, 2026.
