Who Can Apply?


The Sainik School Entrance Exam is available for admission into two classes:



  1. Class 6: Applicants must be aged between 10 and 12 years as of March 31 of the admission year. This exam facilitates entry into 33 Sainik Schools nationwide.

  2. Class 9: Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years old and must have completed or be currently enrolled in Class 8 at a recognized institution.


Exam Pattern for AISSEE 2026

The AISSEE will be conducted in an offline format using pen and paper, with OMR sheets for responses. Examination centers will be established in around 190 cities across India.
