The application window for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2026 has officially opened. Parents looking to enroll their children in Sainik Schools for Classes 6 and 9 can now submit their applications through the official website.


The deadline for submitting applications for the AISSEE 2026 is set for October 30th, while the last date to pay the application fee is October 31st. Additionally, a correction window for applications will be available from November 2 to 4, 2025. Below are the steps to complete the application process.

Application Fee Details


The application fee is ₹850 for candidates from the General/OBC categories, while it is ₹700 for those belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST).


AISSEE 2026 Exam Format


The AISSEE 2026 will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will be conducted in a pen-and-paper format. The exam for Class 6 will be available in 13 languages and will last for 150 minutes. For Class 9, the exam will be conducted in English and will have a duration of 180 minutes.
