AISSEE 2026 Registration Update
AISSEE 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension for the online application deadline for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE 2026). Candidates can now submit their applications for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 until November 9, 2025.
The deadline for payment of examination fees has also been extended to November 10, 2025. Interested candidates or their guardians are encouraged to complete their applications by visiting the official website.
AISSEE 2026 Exam Date: Scheduled for January 18
The AISSEE 2026 is set to take place on January 18, 2026, in an offline format. Admission criteria for Sainik Schools vary based on the age and class of the applicants:
- For Class 6, applicants must be aged between 10 and 12 years.
- For Class 9, applicants should be between 13 and 15 years old.
Age eligibility will be determined as of March 31, 2026.
Application Fees:
The application fee structure is as follows:
- General, OBC (non-creamy layer), Defense, and ex-servicemen candidates: ₹850
- SC and ST candidates: ₹700
Additionally, the NTA has introduced three new Sainik Schools this year. In June, the Ministry of Defense approved the establishment of 86 new Sainik Schools as part of a broader initiative to create 100 Sainik Schools nationwide.
Correction Window for Applications:
A correction window will be available from November 12 to 14, 2025, allowing candidates to amend any errors in their applications via the official website.
