Nursing Officer Positions Available at AIIMS

Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications:
Applicants for the Nursing Officer role must hold a B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized institution and be registered with the Indian Nursing Council or the respective State Nursing Council. Candidates who have completed the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course are also eligible, provided they have at least two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds. Applications lacking valid registration or the necessary qualifications will be rejected.

Age Limit:
The age range for applicants is set between 18 and 30 years. Age relaxation will be granted to candidates from reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and others in accordance with government policies.

When applying online, candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹3,000 for General and OBC applicants, while SC, ST, and EWS candidates will pay ₹2,400. Candidates with disabilities (PwBD) are exempt from this fee. Payments must be made online.
Salary and Selection Process
Salary:
Selected candidates will receive a salary according to Pay Band-2, with monthly earnings ranging from ₹9,300 to ₹34,800, along with additional allowances as per government regulations.
Selection Process:
The selection of Nursing Officers will be based on the NORCET 10 exam, which will be conducted as an online computer-based test. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the merit list.
