AIIMS INI SS January 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi has announced the counseling timeline for the Institute of National Importance – Super Specialty (INI-SS) January 2026 session. According to the official announcement, the Institute Allotment Result for INI-SS 2025 Round-1 is set to be released on December 29, 2025.
As per AIIMS's announcement, the choice filling process for INI-SS Round-1 is currently underway. Eligible candidates can select their preferred institutions based on their chosen subject or specialty by visiting the official website. The deadline for completing the choice filling is December 26, 2025, by 5 PM.

Eligibility Criteria for INI-SS Counseling:
AIIMS has specified that candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% marks in the INI-SS examination to qualify for choice filling. The portal for choice filling will only be accessible to eligible candidates. This counseling process is intended for admissions to the Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) programs.
Access to Choice Filling:
Only candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will have access to the choice filling portal. According to the official notice from AIIMS, the portal will be available exclusively on the “My Page” section for eligible candidates. They must log in using the same user ID and password used during the INI-SS January 2026 application process.
Two Rounds of Counseling:
The INI-SS January 2026 counseling will occur in two rounds. Following the first round, the online allotment result for the second round will be published on January 20, 2026.
Institute allocation will be determined solely based on merit, and only candidates who register within the specified timeframe will be considered. AIIMS has also indicated that candidates will not be permitted to alter or reorder their choices after the deadline for the first round. The second round of allotment will rely on the choices made in the first round.
