AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2025: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Gorakhpur has initiated the application process for various faculty roles, available through direct recruitment, deputation, and contractual arrangements. Available Faculty Positions

Departments Hiring:
Faculty roles are open in several departments, including Anesthesia, Cardiology, General Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Urology, and Trauma and Emergency Medicine. Reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and differently-abled candidates will be in accordance with Government of India policies.

Educational Requirements

Qualifications Needed:
Applicants must possess the necessary teaching and research experience as outlined by the National Medical Commission (NMC). A DM or M.Ch degree is essential for super-specialty roles.


Age Criteria

Age Limits:
The upper age limit for candidates applying for Professor and Additional Professor roles is 58 years, while for Associate and Assistant Professors, it is 50 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, persons with disabilities, government employees, and ex-servicemen as per government regulations.


Salary Structure

Compensation Details:
Selected candidates will receive competitive salaries. The pay for Professors is set at Pay Level 14A, ranging from ₹1,68,900 to ₹2,20,400. Additional Professors will earn between ₹1,48,200 and ₹2,11,400 (Pay Level 13A2+), while Associate Professors will receive ₹1,38,300 to ₹2,09,200 (Pay Level 13A1+). Assistant Professors will earn ₹1,01,500 to ₹1,67,400 (Pay Level 12). All positions will adhere to the Seventh Pay Commission guidelines.


For contract-based Professors (Consultants), the monthly honorarium is set at ₹2,20,000. Retired faculty may be designated as Professor (Consultant) or Additional Professor (Consultant), with the latter receiving ₹2,00,000 monthly.

Fee Structure:
The application fee varies by category: General, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay ₹2,000, while SC and ST candidates are required to pay ₹500. No fee is charged for persons with disabilities, deputation applicants, or retired educators.
