The most Wettest place in the world

Mawsynram is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, 65 kilometres from Shillong. It is reportedly the wettest place on Earth, with an average annual rainfall of 11,872 millimetres (467.4 in). According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Mawsynram received 26,000 millimetres (1,000 in) of rainfall in 1985. Previously this record was held by Cherrapunji, also in Meghalaya.

Crater Lake

Lonar Lake is a located at Lonar in Maharashtra, which was created by a meteor impact during the Pleistocene Epoch ( 2,588,000 to 11,700 years ago) and it is the only hyper velocity impact crater in basaltic rock anywhere on earth.

The other fact about this lake is that itis both saline and alkaline in nature. Lonar Lake has a mean diameter of 1.2 kilometres (3,900 ft) and is about 137 metres (449 ft) below the crater rim. The meteor crater rim is about 1.8 kilometres (5,900 ft) in diameter.

The Ganges shark (Glyphis gangeticus) is a species of requiem shark found in the Ganges River and the Brahmaputra River of India. It got its name because it primarily inhabitant of Ganges. It is scheduled as critically endangered. It is often confused with the more common bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas), which also inhabits the Ganges River and is sometimes incorrectly referred to as the Ganges shark.

After getting the permit from the supreme court in 2011, the department of archaeology and fire services opened the secret chambers of Anantha Padmanabhaswamy temple and made a shocking revelation.
