If I say that this man had more than 15 degrees with him, won’t you be surprised? Yes, Dr. Shrikant Jichkar is the most qualified man in India.

Dr. Shrikant Jichkar was born into a wealthy family of Maratha Farmers in Aajangaon near Katol in the district of Nagpur in Maharashtra on September 14, 1954. Little did his family knew at that time that he will be a genius in his later life.

Dr. Shrikant Jichkar held more than 15 degrees. He started out as a Medical Doctor (MBBS and MD) he then did his Law (LL.B.) with Post-graduation in International Law (LL.M.). He also did his Master’s in Business Administration (DBM and MBA) and in Journalism (B.Journ). This was not enough, he did his Masters in ten subjects which is M.A. (Public Administration ; M.A. (Sociology) ; M.A. (Economics); M.A. (Sanskrit); M.A. (History); M.A.(English Literature); M.A. (Philosophy); M.A. (Political Science) ; M.A. (Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology); M.A (Psychology). He also got his D. Litt (Doctor of Letters) in Sanskrit.

42 Exams!
Between 1973 and 1990, he had written 42 University Examinations, every summer and every winter! Not only that, he has a merit in almost every degree and ever holds medals for securing ranks in this academic achievements.

UPSC qualified
The UPSC exams are considered the most difficult exams to crack in the country. Dr. Shrikant Jichkar has qualified this exam twice! He first qualified this exam in 1978 and joined IPS but resigned. He again wrote this exam in 1980 to become IAS but again resigned four months later to contest elections.

Dr. Shrikant Jichkar became the youngest MLA of the country when he was elected for the Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra at the age of 25 in 1980.

Member of Rajya Sabha
He has even been a member of Rajya Sabha between 5 July 1992 and 4 July 1998. However, he lost the election for Lok Sabha in 1999 and 2004. In 1999, he lost the election of the Lok Sabha by a slender margin of 3000 votes in an electorate of 1.4 million voters.
