Exciting Update for Class 12 Students

Class 12 students from the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) have reason to celebrate as the results for the HSSLC Examination 2026 are set to be released soon. Official announcements confirm that the results will be available on May 4.

Examination Schedule

The Class 12 board examinations took place from February 18 to March 13 this year. Conducted in an offline format, students used pen and paper for their assessments, with each exam lasting three hours. The Board reported that over 29,000 students registered for these examinations.

Postponed Papers

During the examination period, the Music and Anthropology papers, initially scheduled for March 11 and 12, were postponed. New dates were later set, and these examinations were successfully conducted.

Last Year's Results Overview

In 2025, the Class 12 results were announced on May 5, with an impressive overall pass percentage exceeding 80%. Notably, a student in the Science stream achieved the highest marks, while other students also performed remarkably well.

Commerce Stream Performance

Students in the Commerce stream also showcased strong performances, with top students achieving scores close to 480, indicating a competitive environment. Analyzing trends from previous years, results were declared on May 8 in 2024, May 9 in 2023, and on various dates in 2022, consistently falling within the month of May.
