Technical Oversight by IIT Madras


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to entrust the management of its results portal to a technical team from IIT Madras. This team will include professors and is aimed at resolving issues faced by students during the revaluation application process following result announcements. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has issued directives regarding this initiative, emphasizing the need for a seamless revaluation experience without technical hindrances.


Complaints of Glitches on the Portal

Following the declaration of results, a significant number of intermediate students attempted to apply for revaluation. However, many faced challenges ranging from login issues to difficulties in submitting applications and making payments. Numerous complaints regarding these glitches were reported. The Ministry of Education has taken these concerns seriously and has assigned the IIT technical team to oversee the portal's operations.


Expert Team to Investigate Technical Issues

According to information from the Ministry of Education, the expert team will assess technical glitches and speed issues on the portal, as well as evaluate the server and IT infrastructure. The Union Education Minister has made it clear that the welfare of students is the ministry's top priority. He has instructed CBSE to ensure that the entire system is effective and transparent, with necessary reforms implemented promptly. This initiative by the ministry aims to make the revaluation process more accessible and reliable.
