ICAI Postpones CA Intermediate and Final Exams Due to Flooding

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the CA Intermediate and Final examinations originally set for September 3rd and 4th, 2025, due to severe flooding in Punjab and Jammu. The affected cities include Amritsar, Bathinda, and Jalandhar, among others. Revised exam dates will be announced on the ICAI's official website. ICAI CA September Exam Rescheduled


Announcement from ICAI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the postponement of the CA Intermediate and Final examinations that were set for September 3rd and 4th, 2025. This decision comes in light of severe rainfall and flooding affecting several areas in Punjab and Jammu.


The postponement specifically impacts the cities of Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala, Sangrur in Punjab, and Jammu city. Updated exam dates will be provided on the official ICAI website shortly.


Original Exam Schedule:
The CA Intermediate exams were initially planned from September 4th to 15th, with Group 1 papers on September 4th, 7th, and 9th, and Group 2 papers on September 11th, 13th, and 15th. Concurrently, the CA Final exams were scheduled for September 3rd, 6th, and 8th for Group 1, and September 10th, 12th, and 14th for Group 2.


In an official statement, ICAI noted, "Due to ongoing rain and flooding, the CA Final and Intermediate exams set for September 3rd and 4th, 2025, are postponed in the affected cities of Punjab and Jammu."
