Haryana Board Result 2026: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has begun the process of compiling results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. The evaluation of answer sheets for these exams is set to start on April 2. To ensure fairness and precision in grading, the Board has established a thorough and closely monitored evaluation system. Dr. Pawan Kumar, the Chairman of the Haryana Board, announced, "The evaluation of Secondary (Academic/Open School) answer sheets will commence on April 2."
Evaluation Process Details
The Chairman of the Haryana Board further revealed that 6,969 teachers have been designated to assess the Class 10 answer sheets, with this process expected to last until April 14. In contrast, the evaluation for the Senior Secondary (Class 12) answer sheets will kick off on April 3 and continue until April 28. Approximately 5,009 examiners will be responsible for grading the Class 12 answer sheets across 52 designated centers. The results for the Senior Secondary examinations are anticipated to be announced by the second week of May, followed by the Class 10 results.
Daily Evaluation and Review Process
Each Examiner to Check 30 Answer Sheets: The Board Chairman explained that on the initial day, an examiner will review 15 answer sheets. Following that, they will be tasked with evaluating 30 answer sheets each day. Additionally, 10 percent of the graded answer sheets will be randomly reviewed by the Chief Examiner. This year, the Haryana Board examinations began on February 25, with Class 12 exams concluding on March 1 and Class 10 exams finishing on March 20.
Future Changes in Evaluation
On-Screen Marking from Next Year: In a previous announcement, the Haryana Board Chairman indicated that the Board is aligning its efforts with the National Education Policy to modernize the education system, making it more flexible and inclusive. He highlighted the importance of enhancing technical and skill-based education to improve student opportunities. In this regard, preparations are underway to implement on-screen marking starting from the 2026–27 examination cycle, which is expected to improve transparency in the evaluation process and facilitate quicker result announcements.
