Google Introduces New AI Feature to Aid Student Exam Preparation
Google's Initiative for Student Learning
New Delhi: Google, one of the largest tech companies globally, is taking significant steps to facilitate student learning. The company has integrated a new feature into its artificial intelligence tool, Gemini, enabling students to prepare for competitive exams from the comfort of their homes.
This feature is entirely free and could potentially assist students in preparing for major exams like IIT and NEET in the future.
What is the New Feature of Gemini AI?
CEO Sundar Pichai announced on the social media platform X that students can now take practice tests for the SAT exam through Gemini AI. The SAT is a crucial test for college admissions in the United States. To create these questions, Google has partnered with the renowned education company, 'The Princeton Review,' ensuring that students receive authentic exam-like questions.
Helpful update for students, you can now take full practice SATs for free in the @GeminiApp.

Full-Length Practice Tests
Gemini AI goes beyond merely asking questions; it provides students with complete full-length practice tests. After completing the test, students receive immediate results. If any answers are incorrect, the AI explains the mistakes step-by-step in simple terms. Even if a student guesses correctly, the AI clarifies the reasoning behind the answer, allowing students to learn with confidence.
Launch of SAT Exam Feature
Currently, this feature has been launched for the SAT exam, but Google has indicated that more competitive exams will be added in the future. Experts believe that given the large student population in India, Google may soon include IIT-JEE and NEET exams, potentially reducing reliance on expensive coaching classes.
Special Tools for Teachers
Google is also focusing on educators. In collaboration with 'Khan Academy,' a reading coach is being developed to assist students from grades 5 to 12. This tool will help teachers identify which subjects students are struggling with.
Who Can Access This Feature?
Currently, this service is available to users aged 18 and above who have a subscription to Gemini AI Pro. There are plans to expand access in the future.
