Important Update for JEE Main Aspirants



Exciting news for students gearing up for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the deadline for submitting applications is tomorrow, November 27, 2026. Those who have not yet filled out their application forms can do so promptly by visiting the official NTA website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The application portal will close after tomorrow.


Correction Window Details


If any errors occur during the application process, the NTA will allow corrections. The correction window will be accessible from December 1 to 2, 2025, enabling students to amend their applications online within this period.


Self-Application Process


Students should note that they can independently apply for the JEE Main exam. Below are the steps to assist you in completing the application:


1. Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.


2. On the homepage, click on "Registration for JEE (Main) - 2026 Session-1 is LIVE!" found under LATEST NEWS.


3. Begin by registering through the new registration link.


4. After registration, candidates can finalize their application by providing additional details, uploading photographs, and signatures.


5. Submit the application after paying the required fee.


6. Finally, print the completed form for your records.


Application Fee Structure


Applicants must pay the designated fee based on their category when submitting the application. Applications submitted without the fee will not be processed. The NTA has established different fees for each category and paper, which can be found in the table below.


Session 1 Exam Schedule


As per the NTA's brochure, the Session 1 examination is scheduled from January 21 to January 30, 2026. City slips will be available in the first week of January, and admit cards will be distributed 3 to 4 days prior to the exam. The results for Session 1 are expected to be announced on February 12, 2026.
