CISCE Announces Exam Dates for ICSE and ISC 2026

Exam Schedule Released by CISCE

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has unveiled the timetable for the upcoming Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations. The Class 10 (X) exams are scheduled to take place from February 17 to March 30, 2026, while the Class 12 (XII) exams will occur from February 12 to April 6, 2026.

Participation Statistics

Expected Student Enrollment
According to CISCE, approximately 410,000 students are set to participate in this year's examinations. This includes around 260,000 students for the ICSE and 150,000 students for the ISC.

Exam Shifts and Timings

Exam Schedule Details
The board examinations for both classes will be conducted in two shifts. For Class 12, the first shift will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the second shift will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Similarly, Class 10 exams will also be held in two shifts, with the first shift starting at 9 a.m. and the second shift concluding at 11 a.m. Note that some subjects for Class 10 will have a duration of 2 hours, while others will be allotted 3 hours.
