Candidates aspiring for admission into M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, and Pharm.D programs in Andhra Pradesh should note the latest announcement from the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The counseling schedule for AP PGECET 2026 has been officially released. Those who have successfully qualified in GATE, GPAT, or AP PGECET 2026 are eligible to participate in the counseling process.


The online registration and fee payment will start on September 16 and will remain open until September 21. Priority will be given to GATE and GPAT candidates for admission, with remaining seats allocated to AP PGECET candidates based on their merit.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, candidates must be Indian citizens and possess a relevant undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by AICTE or UGC. General category candidates need a minimum of 50% marks, while reserved category candidates require at least 45%. Local candidates from Andhra Pradesh are allocated 85% of the total seats, with the remaining 15% available to both local and non-local candidates.

Candidates who secure a seat must report to their designated institute between September 30 and October 3 to finalize the admission process. Classes for M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, and Pharm.D. programs will start on September 30, 2026.
