Uttarakhand Board Exam Schedule for 2026 Released

The Uttarakhand Board has unveiled the examination schedule for 2026, with Class 12 exams starting on February 21 and Class 10 on February 23. Both exams will conclude on March 20. Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, the Director of Secondary Education, has assured that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth examination process. With over 216,000 candidates expected, strict security measures are being implemented at 1261 centers, including 156 identified as sensitive. Announcement of Exam Dates


The Uttarakhand Board has officially announced the schedule for the 2026 examinations. The Class 12 board exams are set to commence on February 21, while the Class 10 exams will begin on February 23. Both sets of exams will conclude on March 20. The Intermediate exams will kick off with Drawing and Painting, whereas the Class 10 exams will start with Hindustani Music. The Class 10 board exams will be conducted in a single shift, running from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.


Preparation and Security Measures

Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, the Director of Secondary Education in Uttarakhand, has assured that all necessary preparations are underway to facilitate a smooth examination process. He emphasized the importance of security and fairness at various examination centers throughout the state. Students are encouraged to stay calm and concentrate on their studies during this period.

The board has implemented stringent measures to ensure the examinations are conducted without any malpractice. A total of 1261 centers will host the exams, with 156 identified as sensitive and 6 as highly sensitive. Approximately 216,000 candidates are expected to participate in these examinations.

Reports indicate that around 750 examiners will be appointed to oversee practical examinations across various schools.

Last year, too, the examination started on February 21


In 2025, the Uttarakhand Board examinations commenced on February 21 and concluded on March 11. Approximately 223,403 students participated, with 109,966 appearing for the High School examination. The results were announced on April 19, 2025.
