UPSC IES/ ISS Examination 2016 Apply Online, upsc.gov.in

Union Public Service Commission has issued a official notification datetd 16-01-2016, inviting online applications for UPSC Indian Economic Services and Indian Statistical Service Examination 2016. The selection for the post will be on the basis of written examination followed by interviews.

The process of online registration for UPSC IES/ ISS Examination 2016 will end up on 12^th February 2016. The applications of the candidates whose form will be submitted after the last date, Incomplete or without signature will not be accepted by the commission.

Last date of Fees deposition through Bank Challan: 11^th February 2016

Age Limit: The age of candidates as on 1.8.2016 should be more than 21 and less than 30 Years.

Qualifications:

For IES Exam: Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

For ISS Exam: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.
