Overview of UPSC Examination Schedule for 2027



The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has unveiled its examination timetable for the year 2027. As per the schedule, the Civil Services Preliminary Examination is set for May 23, 2027. Following this, the Civil Services Main Examination will begin on August 20, 2027, and will span five days. Notably, the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination will occur simultaneously with the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. The calendar also outlines dates for various other recruitment tests, including the Engineering Services, NDA, NA, and CDS.


In 2027, the NDA and NA Examination (I) is planned for April 11, while the NDA/NA Examination (II) will take place on September 19. The CDS Examination (I) is also scheduled for April 11, with the CDS Examination (II) on September 19. The Engineering Services Preliminary Examination is slated for January 31, 2027, followed by the Main Examination on June 18, 2027.
