Exam Schedule and Shifts
The Combined Geo-Scientist Preliminary Examination will be conducted in two shifts. The morning session will span from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by the afternoon session from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Exam Structure and Stages
The examination process is segmented into three stages:

Stage I: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination
- Format: Objective type with two papers.
- Note: Marks secured in this phase contribute to the final merit.

Stage II: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination
- Format: Descriptive Type with three papers.
- Note: Marks secured in the Main Examination will be considered for the final merit.

Stage III: Personality Test/Interview
- Candidates eligible after qualifying prelims and mains rounds will proceed to the final personality assessment test.
