Exam Structure of CTET

The CTET exam is scheduled for December this year and consists of two papers.

Paper I is intended for those aspiring to teach classes I-V, while Paper II is for those aiming to teach classes VI-VIII.

Each paper comprises 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and there is no negative marking.

Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2025

For candidates applying for Paper I (classes I-V):

They must have completed or be in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Paper II (classes VI-VIII):

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree along with a two-year B.Ed. or a four-year integrated B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Importantly, there is no upper age limit for appearing in the CTET 2025 exam.
