Update on UP NEET UG 2025 Round 3 Results



UP NEET UG 2025 Round 3: The Uttar Pradesh Department of Medical Education and Training has announced that the results for the third round of seat allocation for UP NEET UG 2025 have been postponed until further notice. Originally set for release on October 27th, the results are now on hold due to directives from the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).


This postponement follows a Supreme Court ruling in WP No. 223, Shubhekar Patnaik vs. K. Ramesh Reddy & Others, which instructed state counseling committees to exclude candidates who have already secured seats in the All India Quota (AIQ).


Statement from the MCC:


The MCC has confirmed that the results for the third round of NEET UG counseling 2025 were previously announced, and no withdrawals will be permitted in this round. Consequently, all state counseling authorities are required to eliminate AIQ Round 3 candidates before proceeding with the allocation of seats. This measure aims to prevent students who have already been selected from obtaining multiple seats. State authorities will have access to download the list of these candidates from the MCC portal after November 1, 2025.


NEET UG Registration Timeline:


The registration process for NEET UG Round 3, including the payment of fees and security deposits, concluded on October 15th at 2:00 PM. A revised merit list was published on October 16th, followed by the online choice filling period from October 17th at 2:00 PM to October 24th at 11:00 AM.
