UP Board Releases Model Papers for Class 10 and 12 Exams
Model Papers Available for Download
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has made subject-specific model papers accessible for students in classes 10 and 12. These resources can be downloaded from the official UPMSP website, upmsp.edu.in.
Significant Update for Students
In a crucial update for the vast number of students gearing up for the UP Board examinations, UPMSP has introduced model papers for both Class 10 and Class 12. This initiative aims to streamline exam preparation, making it more effective and manageable. Students can easily download these model papers from the official website.
Importance of Model Papers
Given the evolving nature of exam patterns, these model papers act as essential tools for students. By practicing with these papers, students can familiarize themselves with potential exam questions and identify which chapters need more focus.
Changes in Class 10 Exam Pattern
The UP Board has revised the Class 10 exam format, dividing it into two distinct sections to ensure a balanced assessment.
Part A
This section will feature 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each worth 1 mark. Students must respond using a blue or black ballpoint pen on an OMR sheet, avoiding the use of erasers or correction fluids to prevent damage.
Part B
This section will include descriptive questions totaling 50 marks, comprising short, very short, and long questions. Each question will specify the number of sub-questions. Students will have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the exam, providing ample time for practice.
Model Papers for Class 12 Students
Class 12 students can also benefit from the newly released model papers across all three streams: Science, Commerce, and Humanities, for the 2025-26 academic year. Those preparing for the 2026 board exams can download these papers to gain insights into the types of questions expected and the overall exam structure.
