UP Board Exam Centers Finalized for 2026 High School and Intermediate Exams

Overview of UP Board Examination Centers



The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council has confirmed the locations for the upcoming High School and Intermediate board examinations scheduled for 2026.


Details on Examination Centers

In Prayagraj, the UP Board has designated 8,033 centers for the Class 10 and 12 examinations. The exams are set to take place from February 18 to March 12, 2026. A total of 52,30,297 students have registered for these exams, with 27,50,945 for High School and 24,79,352 for Intermediate, as reported by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh.


Distribution of Examination Centers

According to Secretary Bhagwati Singh, the 8,033 examination centers will be distributed as follows:



  • 596 government schools

  • 3,453 aided schools

  • 3,984 unaided schools


This year, there has been an increase of 585 centers compared to previous years. Although 7,448 centers were proposed, the final count stands at 8,033.


Updated Examination Schedule

It's important to note that the Class 10 Hindi and Primary Hindi exams, initially set for February 16, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM, have been rescheduled to February 18, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM. Likewise, the Class 12 General Hindi and Hindi papers will now occur on February 18, 2026, in the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, instead of February 16. Additionally, the Sanskrit exam, originally planned for March 10, 2026, will now take place on March 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
