UP Board Exam 2027: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the timeline for the online selection of examination centers for the High School and Intermediate exams scheduled for 2027. The online selection process will be available from August 24 to October 29, 2026.
Purpose of the Center Selection Process
The board aims to uphold the integrity, quality, and reliability of the 2027 examinations. To facilitate this, schools will need to provide details about their facilities and infrastructure online, which will later be verified.
School Responsibilities by August 24
By August 24, 2026, school principals must upload information regarding their school's infrastructure and facilities to the official website, upmsp.edu.in. Following this, the verification of the uploaded data will begin.
Verification Timeline
Tehsil-level committees, appointed by District Magistrates, will carry out physical verifications of the submitted documents. This verification must be completed by September 3, 2026.
After verification, the District Inspectors of Schools (DIOS) will upload the verification reports, including observations from the committees, by September 12, 2026.
Initial List of Examination Centers
A provisional list of examination centers, along with student allocations, will be prepared and made available for public review by the District Center Determination Committees on September 21, 2026.
On September 23, 2026, a list will be published identifying schools that are ineligible to serve as examination centers or are facing recognition revocation proceedings. This information will be accessible on the board's website and the DIOS portal.
Raising Objections
The District Inspector of Schools will publish the examination center list in newspapers on September 28, 2026. Students, parents, and school officials will have the opportunity to raise objections regarding the centers, which can be submitted online through the board's portal.
DIOS will review the objections, and valid ones will be forwarded to the Council with recommendations from the District Center Determination Committee by October 8, 2026.
