UGC-NET December 2025 Exam Schedule Announced
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the examination timetable for the University Grants Commission (UGC)-NET scheduled for December 2025. According to the announcement, the examination will take place from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026. Candidates are required to submit their applications through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in by November 7, 2025.
The window for application corrections will be available from November 10 to 12, 2025.
The UGC-NET serves to assess the eligibility of Indian citizens for (i) the award of Junior Research Fellowship and recruitment as Assistant Professor, (ii) recruitment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programs, and (iii) admission to Ph.D. programs exclusively in Indian universities and colleges.
