Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of CCS-I Examination (Group-I Services) vacancies, including Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner (C.T.), and others. Application Fee:

• One Time Registration Fee: Rs. 150/-
• Preliminary Examination Fee: Rs. 100/-
• Main Written Examination Fee: Rs. 200/-
• For SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM/ Destitute Widow: Nil
• Payment Mode: Online (Net Banking/ Credit card/ Debit card) or offline at SBI/ HDFC Bank/ Post Office within 2 days from the date of submission of online application.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2022):

• Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC, BCM & DW of all categories:
  • For all posts except Assistant Commissioner (C.T.): 39 Years
  • Assistant Commissioner (C.T.):
    • For applicants possessing any degree: 39 Years
    • For applicants possessing B.L. degree: 40 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Others:
  • For all posts except Assistant Commissioner (C.T.): 34 Years
  • Assistant Commissioner (C.T.):
    • For applicants possessing any degree: 34 Years
    • For applicants possessing B.L. degree: 35 Years

Qualification:

• Candidates should possess a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or any other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Physical Qualification:

• Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category I):
  • For Men: Height not less than 165 cms, Chest not less than 86 cms round on full inspiration, and chest expansion of not less than 5 cms on full inspiration.
  • For Women: Height not less than 155 cms. Chest measurement not applicable.
