The Central Industrial Security Force (C.I.S.F) is a Central Armed Police Force in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on 10 March 1969 with strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on 15 June 1983. Its current strength is 165,000. The strength will be raised to 200,000 over the next 2–3 years. CISF is the largest industrial security force in the world

UPSC CISF AC (EXE) Exam Pattern 2016:-

  1. The written exam will conduct into two papers. Paper-I is objective type and contains 150 questions carrying 300 marks (each question carry 2 marks). Paper-II is subjective type and contains 100 marks.
  2. Paper-I has two parts and they are: Part-A : General Ability and Intelligence (75 Questions) – 150 marks. and Part-B: Professional Skills (75 Questions) – 150 marks.
  3. Paper-II : Essay writing, Precis writing and Comprehension – 100 marks – 2 hours.
