Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) was constituted on 1st November 1956, under Section 118(3) of the States Reorganization Act by the order of the President of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Government of India. State Public Service Commissions must be consulted in all matters of recruitment except for the posts specified in the Constitution of India.
