According to reports from a Media House, the SSLC board exams in Tamil Nadu took place from March 28 to April 15, with a total of 9,13,084 candidates registered, comprising 4,46,471 boys and 4,40,499 girls.

As reported by a Media House, this year has seen an increase in the pass percentage for both boys and girls. In 2024, the overall pass rate was 91.55%, with girls achieving 94.53% and boys at 88.58%.
In 2025, boys improved their pass percentage to 91.74%, while girls maintained their lead with an impressive 95.88%.
